Full moon paddle events
SUP and kayak under the full moon
Western Slope SUP and Colorado State Parks team up each month to bring you the best full moon paddle event in Colorado! Bring your own board or rent one of ours, and enjoy watching the full moon rise over the West Elk Mountains from your paddle board!
Paddleboard and kayak rentals, which include PFD and whistle, will be will be available on-site. Rentals must be reserved ahead of time to guarantee availability.

Reserved SUPs and kayaks will be available for pick up and drop off at the Sweitzer Lake State Park Boat Ramp, or Crawford State Park Peninsula Boat Ramp.

Details
Please follow Colorado State Park rules while on the lake. These include:
1. Wear provided PFD with attached whistle
2. Wear a headlamp (not provided)
3. All vehicles must have a Colorado Parks Pass, or obtain a $9.00 per vehicle day pass. (Parks passes can be purchased at the self-serve kiosk at the park entrance. Please bring exact change)
4. Drugs and alcohol are not allowed in Colorado State Parks
REMEMBER: there are no instructors or lifeguards on duty during these events. You are responsible for your own safety while on the lake. Please dress appropriately, and know your skill level. If you need instruction, please consider booking a lesson with Western Slope SUP before the event
